The sound of wood
Can you hear any difference ?
Rosewood is appreciated for its qualities as tone wood with fine response used widely in guitar manufacture.. ( Dalbergia latifolia East indian rosewood)
Since 2017, this wood has been loaded with bureaucracy presenting difficulties in bringing in instruments built with rosewood between national borders - for musicians on tour and for trade. In everything from new production as to touring musicians who have faced border controls with the fear of having their instruments seized. This can also apply to symphony orchestras.
Now it seems that under controlled forms, will be possible to get guitars .built in rosewood again - as the law may not be intended to create this "trouble" for touring musicians and the guitar, cello and clarinet production.
Hopefully, we will soon be able to feel the powerful sound of rosewood again in our guitars.
