The idea of a classical nylon stringed guitar with a few frets extra (14) is that many guitarists today choose the nylon stringed guitar for the soft sound,  but want to keep the acoustic and the electric guitar's longer and more easy neck to play ,  with a larger register and  cut-away. If you play a lot on the higher frets, you want a cutaway.
